Peter Pan Hits the Suburbs

I nearly came when I got an email from Ebay today with a list of Astronauts items that had been newly listed (I get these on a daily basis, but usually it’s about some crappy surf band).

One of the items listed was for an unplayed vinyl album of Peter Pan Hits the Suburbs with a buy it now price of £10.99. As you might know, Peter Pan was the first album by The Astronauts, and it usually sells for about £130 upwards even in fairly rough condition. I already have it, but seeing a quick profit I clicked on the link to find that someone had already bought it about 20 minutes after it was listed. Ah well.

But reading the description, it seems that this is a new re-release, and not the original at all. Digging around a bit more, it is also available cheaper direct from the label, and if you’re really quick you could even get it on green vinyl.

Here’s the link:

But don’t wait too long because they only made 500 of them (100 in green). The Astronauts are required listening for anyone who reads Punk Faction, for reasons that will become apparent as the story progresses. So now is your chance to do so at an absolute fucking bargain price.

And if you’re some sort of freak who doesn’t like it, you could always sell it on Ebay to someone else, probably even make a bit of a profit in the process.

But do it now because I don’t think it will take them long to sell out at this price. And if you do make a profit, remember to buy me a virtual pint with some of the proceeds.
